This powerful exhibition of portraits by Olivia Hemingway features patients, families, volunteers and staff from St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds.

Forty people, including patients, families, staff, volunteers and supporters, have been photographed in the 40th Anniversary of St Gemma’s Hospice.

Each individual portrait looks behind the scenes into the real lives of people who make the Hospice such a special place, conveying strong feelings of hope, love, happiness, humour and bravery. Hemingway captures people in a range of settings across the city and accompanies each portrait with the sitter’s individual story as they share their connection with St Gemma’s in their own words.
